August-October is the Popcorn sale. It is a great way to get money into your Scout Account and pay for scouting. 37% of what you sell goes into your Scout Account and you can use that money to pay for dues, Summer Camp, High Adventures and other things. This money has to be spent while you are a Scout. If you leave Scouts, the money goes into the Troop general fund.
Twice a year we do a clothing drive. We collect various items and the money that is made goes into the Troop General Fund to pay for campouts and equipment.
In April we volunteer to help at the St Lukes Half Marathon materials pick up day. You have to be 13 to volunteer. We need at minimum 6 Scouts per shift and 2 Adult Leaders. We make $350 for volunteering and that money goes into the Troop General Fund to pay for campouts and equipment.
