Everything you need to prepare for a Troop 12 campout is right here.
Campout logistics are planned the Monday Meeting before the Campout.
You need to bring your $20 to that meeting so you can give that money to the Scout that is buying food.
Patrols are formed at that meeting and they make the menu for the campout.
One Scout from each Patrol is in charge of buying the food.
On a Campout:
Quartermaster - assigned to the campout is responsible to report to the Troop Quartermaster and Scoutmaster on broken equipment, required equipment, who has taken home tents to air out/dry, who has taken home pop-ups to air out/dry, who has taken home equipment for cleaning. (equipment must be returned at the next meeting)
Absolute best time for scouts to work on rank requirements. Make sure they bring their scoutbook, pen, and know what they want to work on. It is your scout’s responsibility to ask - we will remind them over time - but we cannot make them do it nor will we force them to do it.
What they cannot bring – KNIFE! -- until they earn their Tot-N-Chip
Medications – Must be in original container in a baggie
This guide below covers packing lists, schedules, safety information, and all the essential details to help scouts and families feel confident and ready for the adventure.
