Each Scout progresses at their own pace.

Each Scout is responsible to know what they need, work the requirements, and get an ASM to sign off on their requirements

How to: Rank Advancement in Troop 12

• Scouts work to learn a skill or requirement for a rank

• To get it signed off, see and Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM). They will test your knowledge of the skill or requirement. 

• Bring your Scoutbook with you when you get something signed off so it can be signed off in the book. 

• When you complete all the requirements for your Rank, you ask the Scoutmaster for a Scoutmaster Conference. 

• After the Scoutmaster Conference you do a Board of Review (except Scout Rank)

• Advencement is awarded at the next Court of Honor

When can you get things signed off? 

Troop Meetings- During Game time

Campouts- During the day when you have non-program time, NOT during meal and cooking times.
