How to: Merit Badges in Troop 12

Majority of merit badge work is done at summer camp.Scouts can start working on merit badges whenever they want.

• Determine badge to work on – Ask Scoutmaster for a Blue Card (may discourage)

• Scout contacts Merit Badge counselor to start work

• Scout does all necessary work

• Scout finishes the Merit Badge with the counselor

• Scout brings blue card to Scoutmaster

• Scoutmaster gives Blue Card to Advancement Chair

• Scout recieves Merit Badge at next Court of Honor
